Well, you need to climb a bit to reach the top of the Kołobrzeg lighthause build on top of an older fort. Still the views will read you, and the climb itself is not as staining even for an older person or young children (who apparently love it, judging by their reactions). Do it if you like nice vistas from... More

Located in an area of overcrowded tack and horror. Far too many people, too loud to appreciate anything at all.

As you've read - it's lovely, low, cheap and must-see and must-be in Kołobrzeg. It's awesome how various lighthouses are. I was really surprised when I found my younger daughter ( 5 yo) a bit scared of staircase. But she wasn't the only kid that had problem with those stairs. To compare lighthouse in Niechorze is higher, has more steps... More

The lighthouse is an eye catcher in the sea front by the harbour inlet. Built during the 2nd world war on the site of an old fortress. Surrounded by tourists traps as funny boat trip and stands with glossy souvenirs.

You have to climb a lot of stairs, but there are some small spaces to rest on the way, as well as seashell exhibits and small shops. The view from the top is really worth climbing: the two breakwaters, the pier on the beach, the port and the town.

We loved the lighthouse and the area. It was a windy day when we visited but that is a nice place to see. If you like lighthouses it is quite a small one but a nice one. You can see the seaport from the top of the lighthouse.

Small light house with a nice view. 5 or 6 zl to go up. Watch out tall people for your head! I think this place is nice for children, if you travel without children seeing the outside of the light house is more than enough.

Two of our group made the climb to the top to take advantage of the great view of the sea and the hinterland, which was great until the sea mist rolled in and blocked the view and dropped the temperature! It was however interesting to see how quickly things can change, and it must have been very difficult for seamen... More

It is one of the smallest lighthouses in Poland but is still worth visiting. We were there with two small kids (aged 3 and 5) and the climb was not difficult even for them. Stairs at the very beginning are extremely narrow but soon change into a broader staircase. There is an exhibition on lighthouses and fisheries inside the building.... More

Very nice views from the top. The staircase is a little claustrophobic in places but definitely not the worst. It doesn't seem that high as you are climbing up but the views are really nice, of the coast and entrance to the port. Short opening hours in the winter.
