Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

the main shopping thoroughfare that runs parallel with the Gydnia seafront about 2 blocks and 100 metres away. There is a good selection of local and chain stores with almost every commodity covered. there appears to be a few Outlet style discount boutiques of the bigger Polish fashion store chains, these all offered incredible bargains compared to regular pricing. A good selection of restaurants and cafes and about 500mts to 1 km in length this street offers all you may need in a central location with easy access and parking

The main street of Gdynia - Swietojanska - is filled with houses built in 1920s and 1930s. The architecture of New York and the sea were the sources of the inspiration for the architects. Many of the houses are the pearls of art decó, modernism or pragmatism. The balconies may look like the bridges of the ships or sea waves. The interior of many of the shops or cafees keep up the spirit of the times of the transatlantic cruises. Local tourist information centre offers tours for architecture lovers

Swietojanska Street is the main street of Gdynia. It is possible to find many shops, cafes and restaurants on this street. Also it is possible to have access to everywhere from here.

When in Gdynia, do not miss Swietojanska Street. It's one of my favourite streets not only in Gdynia, but also in Poland. My other favourite streets in Gdynia are Starowiejska and 10 Lutego. You can just stroll up and down the Swietojanska, "window shop" or go into different stores and see what's available, plus there are cafes, bars, restaurants and other interesting spots. Ice cream in Poland is amazing and there are plenty of places serving it in Gdynia. A must try if you are visiting the Baltic Coast!

long main street full of shops, restaurants and coffee shops. Coffee shops are in just the right distance to have nice latte while exploring never-ending chain of retail facilities.

Nothing special apart from shops restaurants and bar everywhere. It could have deserved a 4 star if the street was for pedestrians only.

Świętojańska street always promises the shoppers boutiques and the hungry cafés and restaurants. In the night time there are also also a few bars to visit. The only thing less nice is the busy trafic in the day and early evening, which is bad for any sidewalk café.

The main street of the city, the buildings mostly from the 1920s and 1930s. Along with the neighboring streets (10 Lutego, Starowiejska, Kaszubski Square, Kosciuszko Square) interesting urban complex. Street after a big renovation.

Gdynia's most representative street, nearly 2000 yards long, offers a lot of small and medium-sized shops and restaurants for everybody's wallet. Though busy with automobile traffic, it has broad sidewalks with flower pots separating them from the traffic lines. Every few hundred meters you'll find a bus stop with buses to all diections. Enjoy the ride on a trolley bus - Gdynia's are the only ones left in Poland.

Firstly Gdynia in a nutshell is a great destination to visit.
Take a stroll down this main street Swietojanska, it is very central and it has lots of shopping, dining, and businesses abound. There is a very good tourist shop and also a great selection of Amber for sale in the jewellers, Lots of good places to dine, transport is all there and the main railways stations are only a short walk away. I love this street in Gdynia, it holds a lot of history, with the development of the Port and Second World War. People should visit this wonderful coastal city, the extra bonus is it has a beautiful beach and Boulevard to stroll down with an interesting new modern Museum and tall sailing ships in the Port. I love this unique city. You will not be disappointed.
