At first sight it was hard to understand the design of this building until it has to be a crane. In itself it is a beautiful beautiful and especially in its location and in many respects it is a symbol of the city.

This is a very interesting building. If you did not know what it was, It looks a bit odd until you realise that being alongside the river it has to be a crane. Well worth visiting.

You just can not find anything else that spells GDANSK like this old crane. To me it has become the very symbol of the city.

Amazing the weights that this could raise without power. They used two men on either side like a hamster wheel. Worth a look

Well that was the most disappointing experience of my life. The staff were rude and unwelcoming. They took our money and then hurried us along to get us out as quick as possible. One member of staff got very angry when my dyslexic son touched...More

Sorry if my answer comes too late. As a visitor to Gdansk I imagine you'll be staying in the old town. The crane is located next to one of the old city gates on the riverside so it's very easy to reach on foot. You may be... More

Turn your back to the Crane and take a selfie with the Crane. It is absolutely gorgeous with night lights.
