Museum is located in beautiful old building, restored after being heavily destroyed during world war II. Inside you will go through beautiful rooms and see how people lived through time. Lots of very old object, paintings... Really good place to visit if you love history....More

Good museum and good view of the city if you go up in the tower. It is a big museeum with lots of items to see and text to read. We were not that intrested so thats we only gave it 3 points.

This is a small museum, and a visit will not take long, well under an hour, but it was time well spent. There is information in both Polish and English.

We had a chance on a business trip to go to this museum. It was very well done showing how all people suffered during World War II. If you are visiting Gdansk, it is worth going.

How impressive, that this building was heavily damaged during World War 2 and was restored to such perfection. Our visit here was made so special by our guide, who was so proud to share not only this building, but the city and its marvelous comeback...More

Very varying artifacts and exhibitions. The most interesting where the photos of Gdansk after WWII, unfortunately a very small part of the museum.

Really enjoyed our trip around this museum, it is very well set out and really gives you an insight into the distruction left after the war. We would have liked to go up to the tower but it was closed when we went. Cost worked...More

We where there in february, so it was ok to spend an hour there. Seems OK, but was a little booring. The halls was beautiful, but I would like more info in english. Worth a visit tough :-)
