Beautiful old town crossed by Motlawa river with nice buildings and picturesque streets with small shops selling amber jewelry

The Old Town area was certainly bustling with people. Tour groups sure, but many youth groups to learn about the rich culture. Don’t miss it

Beautiful views of the incredible architecture, however, be advised that there is quite a bit of construction going on across the river.

Lots of history. Lots of museums. Lots of bars and restaurants. Great place to spend with a friend or family. However some place may be too expensive for the food served. So check on portals the recommendations so you do not overspend.

You can spend days walking around this area! The restaurants are wonderful and the shopping unlimited. If you are looking for amber, you find more than you can believe in this area!

A lot of school classes made it a bit crowded. Take the side streets and you will find a medical city with a lot of atmosfare.

Having heard a lot about the old town (Stare Miasto) we decided to take a walk through and see what it was all about. Gdańsk Stare Miasto is an absolutely amazing place filled with a hell of a lot of architecture from the 17th Century...More

We visited in February. It was freezing cold but stunning. It is just like a movie set! There are lots of shops and lovely restaurants and coffee shops. A really lovely place to spend a couple of hours just walking and taking in the view.

Full of musicians and performers. A bit too crowded in the evening. Multiple nice, but pricey restaurants. Lovely architecture and narrow streets on the old town to walk around.

If you're coming into Gdynia then no. If it's midweek the cabs are very reasonable.
