In this building, you can see a lot of interesting items, good pictures, and architectural elements. Also from the tower opens so a perfect view to the old city center and river, but in could be closed, especially in winter time.

Like many other buildings in Gdansk amazingly well restored given the damage during WW2, with interesting stories regarding the contents on display. At certain times of the year it is also possible to climb the tower (not in the winter!) (Free on a Tuesday!)

Very beautiful town hall, specially at sunrise. It was restored and it is possible to visit with a guided tour.

The old town hall of Gdansk is a "must see" while in this wonderfull city!!! Its design is a brilliant example of the Gothic Renaissance - but do not stop with admiring this architectural masterpiece: also enter and enjoy the museum, which is housed in the building!!! It gives a brilliant impression of the interior design of its epoch, but... More

On the walk from the house of amber this is a logical place to visit. It has been beautifully preserved/restored and is historically important in this city. We almost joined a guided tour in simultaneous English and Russian but ended up self-guided.

As you come into and look around this building--we had an excellent guide that took us through, it is so hard to believe that it was so badly damaged in WW2. The Polish people are so proud of this city and the way it arose once again, like the phoenix from the ashes. This building is also a reminder of... More

Wonderful building right in the city centre. Surprisingly beatiful above all the tower. Most advised corner for a sight is from down and from the side,

The Ratusz has all the trappings of a Center of power of a very rich city-state, Monumental staircase, huge halls, rich décor all contribute to command respect.
