As you make your way up the staircase there are stops with old photographs and historical material to learn about the city of Brno. A small museum is near the entrance of the staircase. a 360 degree view of the city is the reward for making it to the top.

You should not miss visiting Old Town Hall when in Brno. It is also place where tourist Information center is located. There are many stories and legends about this place. The legends of the Brno dragon and wheel are most notorious. Enjoy the nice architecture.

The main see here is the legendary Brno dragon! He lives up to the hype and makes this place worth seeing for sure. A definite photo stop. The actually town hall is beautiful too. There is a handy tourist information centre here.

The famous Brno dragon (oh well it looks more like a crocodile :p) is suspended in a passage way where you walk to the tower. I climbed the tower at Petrov & I wanted to climb this too but it was closed for the... More

The Gothic sculptured arch over the entrance has a central spire that is twisted. Apparently the great and good who had commissioned it failed to pay the full sum agreed, so the sculptor made it "wrong" out of spite. Unfortunately there is not much else to see.
