The Museum of Miniatures or rather Micrro-Miniatures is in the same complex as the Shirov Library (voted the most beautiful library in the world) and 2 stops by tram up from the Castle. It is extraordinary. There are about 40 exhibits which one looks at...More

The size of it surprised me, holding about 20 exhibits of miniart. Takes about 10 minutes to go over it all, in addition to the 130kr entrance fee, plus the drag of getting there from central Prague - sums up to a pretty mediocre experience....More

If you are looking for something unusual, you should visit this museum. It won't take you too long as there are only two rooms but it is worth stopping by. The artist is a genius, capable of carving mosquito / insects' wings, needles, etc. A...More

Incredible miniature art which deserves to be presentated in a much better way. Not even a photo of the artist, just one page with text, hardly readable since it must been written in the 90' and than copied 25 times or so. Still the museum...More

I guess you don't need a big space to house such tiny miniatures. But, honestly, I was expecting a little more. There some exhibits you look at through a magnifying glass and others you look at through a microscope. I generally found the microscope one...More

It's a small but a must see museum. All the pieces are unbelievable. I was shocked in a perfect way by the art that I could experience here.

Your experience in Prague will never be complete if
you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched
from the west to the north, provide spectacular views
of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone
streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green
gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses.
Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history.
