Neighbourhood: Malá Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.

Hidden away in a perfect spot ...
Oct 2019
A lovely small park , hidden away behind a wall.

Beautiful in every season. Perfect spot to take a break. There are many benches and just a few people strolling around.

Mostly locals know of this place. Tourists usually search for bigger, more popular attractions.

The park is just south of Klarov ( tram and metro station are there ) and close to Charles Bridge.

The peacocks are friendly and beautiful to photograph ....

Nice, small park
Oct 2019
This was a nice, peaceful park in the middle of the city. It is a nice place for a calm walk or picnic if you are feeling overwhelmed by the crowds of Prague. The peacocks are fun to watch of course, and they are pretty friendly. There were even peachicks! The park isn't very large though, so it hardly takes any time to walk through.

Tranquil park
Sep 2019
Whilst wandering around Malá Strana (Lesser Town) we stumbled across this lovely park. It was completed empty so very tranquil except for the sounds of the numerous peacocks. Nice place to sit and chill out.

A Mala Strana's Green Open Park
Aug 2019
The park is open to anyone for free to sit down there, to breathe inside the city among trees, also restrooms are there. Also nice, unusual views of nearby buildings surrounding the park....

Calming, quite and wonderful to relax in. The added bonus is the peacocks which roam free throughout the park!

An oasis of calm
May 2019 • Couples
Prague is a busy city. As we were staying at a hotel that overlooks this park, we often popped in for a walk around just to escape the crowds for a short while. It was great to come face to face with the peacocks that we could hear from our hotel room!

So peaceful.

Vojanovy Sady was a beautiful park my twin brother Stephen and I chilled out in after visiting the Hradcany and Prague Castle complex.
Walking through a gateway into this secluded park was just what we needed,a beautiful warm March afternoon, it was so good just taking the weight off our feet, resting up on one of the many benches in this park and planning out the day ahead in this busy and bustling city.
The gardens here are well kept ,I noticed throughout Prague that the authorities have a real pride in their many parks,I suppose that is why there such great places to visit.
This park is easy to locate in the Lesser Town ( Mala Strana district ) and is found on U Luzhickeho Seminaire .
Well worth checking out.

Hidden Gem
Sep 2018 • Couples
This park is tucked away in the middle of Mala Strana. This is a beautiful and peaceful park that is a nice getaway from all of the tourists and crowds. Less than a three minute walk from the Charles Bridge, you can find many open benches and fruit trees to rest and recharge. This place is a true hidden gem that hosts some amazing peacocks (and babies when we were there).

Peacocks!
Sep 2018 • Couples
This small but lovely park is considered the oldest partially preserved garden in Prague. This hidden park is filled with fruit trees and peacocks. We saw a couple of males (no big showy tails, just bright turquoise bodies), several females and a few youngsters (all grey).

There's also a "peacock house" on site -- not sure of its intended use but it has peacocks decorating the exterior.

Definitely a delight place to spend some quiet time.
