This museum is a must see. It's an important piece of history and the guide was very knowledgeable. The tour was fun and we found a lot of interesting things. Although the exterior (shop) looks awful the interior both replicas and original items.

Although small this museum is no like any other. Even if you don’t have a chemical general knowledge, one can understand and appreciate how throughout the ages man evolved the common powders for healing. A very interesting museum.

This place shocked me. I was expecting something a little kitschy but it was much more authentic and interesting. (Though the souvenir shop is a little on the kitschy side). I would definitely recommend. Our tour guide was very knowledgable and personable. Me and my...More

We went in and expected some mystical stories about magic and so on. Instead we got some great storytelling and an actual history lesson from a great guide. The very recent discovery of this old place makes it very interesting in itself, and the small...More

Found this place by complete chance. We enjoyed the story telling from our guide, we loved the rooms inside and the secret tunnel, but I do feel like we had been a little overcharged. The tour itself is only 30 mins, and once you have...More

As I remember there was no elevator. Just an old stair. The floor downstairs is not flat but stoned. It is a medieval basement conserved as it was.
