Beautiful architecture and history abounds here. Have to be in pretty good physical shape to walk up to the castle as it sits high up on a hill. Great views from here.

End of July and of course it is very busy ! We were lucky in that the weather was cool ! Once over Charles bridge the crowds disperse. Inside the castle I recommend you avoid the first ticket booths - the queues are bigger here...More

The castle is a small village within a wall, you can pay to go into individual parts, sit and enjoy a meal with an incredible view or wonder around, so do not put a time limit on this, just enjoy. Part day, all day and walk... More

Dear traveller, You can buy the ticket and audio guide at the castle. They also give you map with navigation numbers. It is hassle free. the only hurdle is they don't let audio beyond 3pm. I can alternatively suggest you to... More
