Prague's Old Town Virtual Walking Tour

4 reviews
Prague's Old Town has architecture is as old as the city itself. Founded in the early 1200's much of the gothic work is still being used. The lack of bombing during WWII helped that preservation. With that age comes a complex history of a city on the border between the East and the West.

On this tour, you will discover a people that wanted religious reform before Martin Luther, the location of perhaps the most historically significant execution in Europe and one of the more unique clocks in the world. Learn of the love for art that is still a large part of the culture.

If you love beautiful scenery and interesting stories this tour is for you!

Beautifully crafted bridge with nice photo opportunities and activities. Very crowded though. Gorgeous scenes at night.

There is a lot of bridges in Prague but Charles bridge is by far the most famous and most important. This bridge has a fascinating history (which you can learn in nearby museum). Most of the statues on the bridge are no longer originals due to vandalism and weather conditions, however the replicas are beautiful and true to originals.

This Bridge is one of the most important sights of Prague, it is a landmark of the city. Everyone the first time in Prague should cross this bridge. The bridge has two big towers at each of its ends. On each side, there are a lot of statues of saints. to protect the originals, they started to replace the statues by copies. From the bridge, you have a good view over the river.

Love walking during this pandemic and this place is beautiful to take photos. It’s not so crowded these days so it’s nicer.

This in my opinion is well worth a visit, it joins the old town with the Castle. Lots of statues span the bridge on both side and tall towers on either end. Quite empty when we visited due to COVID, so we were able to take our time and enjoy the views.
