Free tour was great too, but Communism and Bunker tour is something different! Communism and Bunker tour took us to places we definitely would not have found our ways to without this tour. The tour had a break in the middle and Klara took us to an authentic canteen to have a taste of Kofola. The high point of the... More

Me and my friends took a evening castle tour with Venca and it was wonderful. The best one can expect free of cost.

While the scenery was spectacular, ie.: Charles Bridge and the Prague Castle I could of used less political, religious and personal stories of drunkenness from our tour guide Zed. Quite frankly it became offensive due to his lack of knowledge about American Politics and the Catholic Faith. The straw that broke that camels back was at Prague Castle, and I... More

Me and my Girlfriend recently went on the free tour. We decided to do both of them. Clara was there early ready for us, there was quite a big group but she handled it perfectly with fun and even getting us to act out some important scenes of history! She was great. The tour was amazing, we learnt so much... More

Took two tours with them: With Vaclav, it was Old Town and Jewish Quarters. With Dominic, it was Charles Bridge and Prague Castle. Both tours were really what one would expect as a tourist wanting to learn about Prague and its history. Enjoyed it thoroughly and the tips (the only payment they expect) was worth every cent.

The tour was guided by Venca, really cool and nice guy who tried to show us the best of Prague's long history. I have taken the Old town tour and the the Castle tour, from 11 to 15.30 and I didn't regret a second. The tour was educational and interesting and funny at some moments (thanx Venca!) Would recommend it... More

We did the Old Town&Jewish Quarter and Charles bridge & Prague Castle tours back to back. We had an excellent guide with a sly wit and good energy, Venca, for both. The tour was an excellent way to see the highlights of old town. We suggest eating before you start off at 11 as there is no break between tours... More

I took a tour with Vaclav of the Old Town, the Jewish Quarter, The Charles Bridge and the Prague Castle. Along the way, we say other points of interest. I am very impressed and definitely take another tour. It is as good as it gets!

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
