I fell in love today! With Prague and our tour guide, Amanda. She delighted us with her Czech ancestry, performed stage quality performances as she animated parts of the tour, and enhanced my ability to converse with the locals as she taught us some easy Czech phrases as well as mnemonics to recall them. I asked her to marry me,... More

You must do this walking tour of Prague. Callum was everything you expect from an excellent tour guide. He provides great information on the history, in a very colourful way with a bit of humour. The tour take 3 hours and will see a lot à major attractions of the city. The vaste history of the city is very interesting... More

The walking tour was amazing and Petra was really informative, friendly and funny at the same time. Definitely learned a lot in a short time and enjoyed every second of it even if we were walking a lot. We also did the Castle tour with a guy. This i didn't enjoy much because it was very windy and it started... More

It's good value for money and a good way to catch all the main attractions. We were only in Prague for 2 nights so would probably have missed some of the sights. It was cold and very windy so not ideal weather for a walking tour and I'm sure it would've been more enjoyable if it was more pleasant outside.... More

Today's walking tour through Prague with Colorado Dave was probably the best tour my wife or I have ever had. It was incredibly insightful, very funny and engaging and hit all the spots we were curious to see and learn about. As we walked between spots, we were able to talk with Dave about other events, moments and people tied... More

Our trip was a day trip to Kutna Hora with guide Levan. The tour started by meeting at 11am near the office, near to the Old Square. Levan began with a brief run-down of the day's plan and we began our walk to the train station. The train ride itself took around an hour and 20 mins in total. Once... More

This is a free 2 and a half hour tour of Prague - we found it great for something to do as soon as you arrive, so you know where things are and what to see! Amanda was quirky, fun and very knowledgeable. They do ask for tips at the end but it's worth every penny. Definitely wrap up when... More

This was a very cost effective tour of Kunta Hora at only 28 euro. It was my first tour using public transportation to get to (trains). Actually was a lot more fun than getting on a tour bus. David was our tour guide and did a great guide. He was more like a friend showing you around town than a... More

The Prague Royal Walk Free Tour was so amazing. The guide Josh was really great, certain charm and wit about him. He showed us around the place and we didn't to leave at the end. Was a really amazing experience

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
