Though we were there for lunch so we couldnt enjoy the show they offer at night, our visit was great. Food was abundant and traditional, as was the beer. Yes, the waiters kinda throw it in front of you but if they didnt do that...More

Really enjoyed the experience. Great pub. Good beer. But the food was rubbish. Im not sure if it's supposed to be to be exactly like medieval times. But there was mainly just bones with no meat on. Or a wet salad. Like some other reviews...More

We found this place while walking from the castle and decided to pop in for a meal. The atmosphere was amazing with the music, costumed waiters, and overall decor (I especially enjoy medieval themed places). The food was really good, fitting for the theme, and...More

This place has rude staff, selling rudeness as period speak. After Visiting this place you will leave with negative image of your self (a specially if you are Czech, or understand czech). They will make so many inappropriate comments about all your bodily imperfections, to...More

Do not pass this by as you visit the castle - Although it looks dark and un inviting it's really good inside - Just take any empty table as it's not clear of the protocol when you enter. We had a few plates of cheese/pickles...More

Visited the Medieval Tavern again and this time sat downstairs as part of a group of 8. The added atmosphere of sitting downstairs definitely turns this from a 4* to a 5* experience - a great night was had by all! The food was actually...More

The scenery, the food, the service, the homemade beers! Best local food and homemade beer so far here in Prague! And kind enough to take us in while in 45 minutes the table would be reserved.

Really enjoyed this semi-authentic Medieval restaurant, the staff were very into their roles and very accommodating on our first visit. The second visit was on a Tuesday but so busy we couldn't sit down and we're ignored by many people, so best when it's quieter....More

On the way down from castle this is a great little stop . We had beers and a pate that was just yummy. Staff were friendly and service great. Imagine the meals would be nice as well.

Your experience in Prague will never be complete if
you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched
from the west to the north, provide spectacular views
of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone
streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green
gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses.
Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history.

There is also a big live snake. BIG. It wraps around a performer's neck. I would certainly bring a kid here, but I would have a conversation with them first about what to expect. There is a fire eating presentation too!
