Neighbourhood: Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Total rip off. Got three small bags of sweets for my kids and it came to £30. Girl on checkout was extremely rude and did not show weight or how the bag price was calculated. I asked her to take a separate sweet item off the bill that was not part of the pick n mix and she went nuts. Total tourist trap and the sweets were
rotten, would get better at Lidl or Tesco's. Don't be like me and get ripped off

Just don’t! It’s crazily expensive - and the candy is just candy. Major tourist trap warning. Resist the urge! Head to one of Prague’s classic cafes instead. You can have coffee and cake for the same price as a few pieces of Pirate candy.

The shop looked amazing, and we were lured in with three kids. Of course, they wanted a small bag of candy each. So we selected three small bags as the prices looked reasonable. Once at the checkout, they put the bags on a scale and demanded almost 700 CK for the candies. We should have walked away, but I decided to pay because the kids were convinced these candies would be the best, which is why it is so expensive. We were terribly wrong. These candies are far worse than the cheapest gummy bears or sour gummy worms you can buy in a Lidl. We were very disappointed. The gummy sweets tasted stale and were hard to chew. Felt like these were in the barrels for months before packaging. Avoid this shop at all costs. Otherwise, they will trick you, and you will end up getting ripped off.

It seemed that everywhere we went the was a Captain Candy Store.
Prices were exceeding high but the candy looked like something one should buy.
Don't.......you will have sticker shock!
One of the questions in the review....is it free to enter? Only if you look but don't touch!

Don't go! Small bag of candy over 10 euros (approx 260kr). With that money you get 5 to 10 beers

I wish I had seen all these reviews before I went.

This is really overpriced ...if you go to Sweden go in to any of the supermarkets and you can buy different candy for 0,6 cent per 100 g and it is even better quality

This is just a big scam
