The highlight of my time in Pilsen was the tour inside the brewery! Our guide Elizabeth was funny and very knowledgable, the beer tasting was just superb and the gift shop has some cool merch. If you go to Pilsen, you must do this tour.

A fascinating tour which lasts about 80 minutes and a glass of beer included in the ticket price. The English tour didn't start till 12.30 so we booked the German one at 11.15 (don't do it if you can't speak German). We had an hour to kill so walked to the town square (5 minutes), enjoyed the Saturday market, had a coffee and went back for the tour.…

We booked our tickets on line the day before and our visit. We arrived with plenty of time to spare and waited in the spacious waiting area for our tour to begin. Our tour guide was very informative and humorous. The big lift was great! Going down to the cool cellars was very welcoming on a very hot day. We enjoyed tasting the unpasteurised and unfiltered beer, tasty. In the waiting area you will find a machine where you can make your own postcards which is a great thing to do!
