Interesting house on a walking tour
Sep 2019
Don't miss this house on your walking tour of the town. Compared to the houses surrounding it, it is interesting to see what money could buy.

There are not too many gothic houses
Apr 2018 • Friends
Late gothic, built by Brichcius Goske from Görlitz for a local enterpreneur in the late 15th century.

Interesting contrasting houses
Aug 2017 • Couples
Only pointed out by our guide but the 3 house in a row show different examples of 3 types of architecture, something that I would have undoubtedly walked past without a thought given to it.

Interesting house of wealthy person; looks more like a church
Jul 2017 • Business
We just stopped outside for a moment after examining the stone well. This house, our tour guide told us, was built for an extremely wealthy person who probably owned the silver mine. It looks like an old church, but it was someone's home. We didn't go inside - not sure you can. But it was fascinating to see how the wealthy lived many years ago and to see this quirky stone house on a street of normal homes.

Beautiful
Mar 2017 • Family
We just saw it passing by but it is yet another beautiful building. Tucked in with all the others. As they say in Prague always look up and not just ahead.

Nice street to stop on
Apr 2016 • Couples
We viewed the building from the street because entering was not part of our tour but the city of Hutna Hora is definitely worth the visit if you visit Prague. It will get you outside into the beautiful country side and get a feeling for the riches from the silver mines. The city is fairly hilly with cobble stone streets and walks and could be difficult for the handicapped.

Beautiful house
Dec 2015 • Family
If you walked around the city centre you will probably come across this beautiful Gothic house. I am not sure if it is open to public but we have seen it from outside and thought it was worth a photo or two.

Great Little Find!
Oct 2015 • Solo
As we walked through the city, we came upon this gothic stone house. The tour guide told us that from the large arches on the bottom floor, this was most likely a merchant's house where the goods were stored and sold. Its very nicely conserved and worth the trek to find it.

Amazing exterior.
Sep 2015 • Friends
The best part of this building is its exterior. You are able to purchase a visit to the upper floors in the company of a guide (written English descriptions). The guide is there to ensure that you don't take photos! There are some interesting displays in the rooms, but the only real reproduction of a period room is the kitchen. Still, I found it interesting to see how the house was laid out with the positioning of the kitchen and the staircase. You have an option to pay extra to visit the cellars. The most exciting thing about visiting the cellars were the steps in and out! Definitely not for the infirm or elderly - very steep and precarious. Seeing the cellars carved out of the stone that the house is built on was interesting. There was also a small exhibition about coffee and tea on the ground floor. If you are pressed for time skip this display altogether. I couldn't see the relevance. I did buy a very good 3D map of Kutna Hora here. It made navigating the rest of the town very easy!
