As part of a day trip round Kutna Hora, we stopped to look round St Barbara’s cathedral. On its own, it’s just a nice church, but with a tour guide (on our day trip) and a bit of background it’s an interesting site to visit. Equally worthwhile are the views into the valley and of the rest of town from... More

Interesting historic cathedral. Impressive exterior and interior. Virtually had the place to ourselves so managed to see the murals on the walls, which are original.

We had no idea what to expect when we arrived and we were very amazed. It was a very misty day in Kutna Hora which really added to the atmosphere of the gothic architecture. The history of the building is incredible so make sure you take your time to walk around and read about it. The interior detail is spectacular... More

Lovely cathedral situated just on outskirts of the old town . Even nicer inside with lots of features , frescoed ceilings and stained glass . Well worth the combined ticket for 4 attractions at 305 crowns.

Incredibly high ceilings with painted coats of arms for the donors near the altar area. Some of the original frescoes were made visible by removing layers of paint through the years giving it the old world feel again. The cathedral took over 500 years to complete. Crazy.

Its architecture is truly amazing, really beautiful building. Just make sure to bring warm clothes, it gets pretty icy inside.

A gothic jewel - a three nave cathedral in Kutná Hora - a Unesco heritage. Medieval city with silver mines activities since 1300. Money was properly invested.

A fantastic structure that you would not expect to see in a small town like Kutna Hora. It is absolutely magnificent! The painted windows have some amazing colors. It is freezing inside though, so i feel really bad for the ladies who work at the ticket/souvenir counter.
