Visit it even if you believe just in stars
Dec 2019
Visiting it and staying there is a very good time to spend on since no matter believe you in God and being an orthodox or just looking inside as a tourist.
After its renovation and restoration the cathedral is really blooming with its freshness and contrasts.
It's a very interesting sample of the Russian churches built with the Russian tzar's vision and spirit.
Every time there are enough people and serving babushkaS are a little bit annoying with their excessive attention.
Price for candles are too high in comparison with local kostels.
However, the very soul of the cathedral is amazing and imposing.
Strongly recommended for your visit if you'd like to touch with the Russian history, emotions and acquire some positive energy from that.
Stay healthy and believe in your own God within this COVID-era! :)

Beautiful Orthodox churche
Jul 2020
This Byzantine style Orthodox churche of Saint Peter and Paul is realy wonderful and worth to see. It has 5 gold plated cupolas and its walls are decorated with ornamental and figural ornaments. It's situated not far from the main promenade (about 1 km) but the street is very steep.

Russian architecture
Jul 2020
It's a nice church, but for me it's strange to see typical Russian architecture in the Czech town. On the fence next to the church there are pictures showing renovation of this place. Unfortunately all the information to the pictures are only in Russian, so if you don't know this language, you don't know what they say. Takeing pictures inside of the church is not allowed.

Different from Ordinary Church
Dec 2019
1. It is the largest and the most important church in Czech Republic, it definitely worth your visit.
2. The interior is nice, kind of amused when I have never been to an Orthodox church.
3. The outside is also special, I think it is the best ORTHODOX church in Czech Republic and the best church in KARLOVY VARY

Nice area of Karlovy Vary
Sep 2019 • Couples
The Orthodox Church of Peter and Paul is probably another church, but walking from the downtown to here is a very pleasant experience you should not miss. Almost free of tourists, during the walk to the church you will find some of the best views of Karlovy Vary. The walk will take about 20 minutes.

Facades, facades and only facades

Typical tune of Orthodox churches is "great from the outside, mediocre from the inside". Pravoslavny Kostel Svateho Petra a Pavla is no exception. I would recommend to plan strolling by it on your way down from the Diana Lookout Tower's area, should you decide to go down by foot. Don't even bother going inside, just focus on some high-standard properties around.
