Pretty urban loch with swans, ducks and some lovely sculptures of the Gruffalo and friends. Lots of people walk dogs there and there's a good play park adjacent. Paths can be a bit muddy.

Been here so many times over the years. It does get busy with dogs and such so always key to keep an eye on your children. The gruffalo trail is lovely and many of the children love this. Great to feed the ducks too but...More

Went with my wife for a walk and happened to walk round the Loch. It's had work done to improve the paths as where there used to be nearly impassable puddles - the footpath is very good now.

Recommended for anyone with young children or grandchildren. The walk round the loch is pleasant and our grand-children loved seeing the swans and ducks (and the signets and ducklings) but the highlight as always was the gruffalo sculptures. There is also good children's play park...More

A pretty small loch in Bearsden (suburb just north of Glasgow) which you can walk round in about 20 mins at a gentle stroll. Many different plants, birds and other wildlife to see and the area is well maintained by local volunteers. Has recently benefitted...More
