Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This place is outdated, extremely noisy and overcrowded. Very disappointed with overall set up - there are no lounge chairs to use, there are very few benches and grassy areas are missing grass and are covered in dirt and mud in places. They have two swimming pools which are so crowded that it’s impossible to swim in them. There are few pools with thermal water but those are in very bad shape with missing tiles and dirty water. Thermal pools have very limited shaded areas and the dividers are covered with grime. Kids are jumping and screaming in all pools. The life guards are missing by the pools and the water jets are not working properly. There is lots of food stands but all of them serve the same heavy, deep fried food and sausages. Unfortunately very low standard in all areas of service.

when you arrive at the parking lot, first shock comes-besides the entry fee you have to pay the parking is extra
The place was quite packed and it wasn't the sunniest day, so can't imagine in the summer. After 2,5h in the thermals we decided to try the wellness. Firstly, It is payed separately. Even though we were warned that the place is slightly packed but there are spots we decided to go in. BIG MISTAKE! There was a bunch of Czech youngestrs who unfortunately didn't know how to behave in the spa-super laud, even after the staff told them off
So it ended up rather than relaxing time as a disaster...
My overall impression : staff very kind and helpful, reasonable prices but I don't think I would visit again....

Well I wanted to try this spa because I was there like 15 years ago and I was not sure what to expect. The day before our visit we spent the whole day in Gyor, Hungary. It is about 25km far. Parking is not free, you can pay at the cash desk. If you want to buy something inside the pool area, you need to pay cash or pre-charge your RFID chip whit some money. They will give you back the rest of the money when you leave the spa. The staff is really rude, especially the guy in the pool with jacuzzi turning off the jacuzzi whenever there is more than 9 people. Oh my, why? People go to rest and not to listen what to do and what not... The benefit is quite reasonable prices for the food in the restaurant, and it tastes pretty well. Water temperature is hotter then in Gyor, but the water surface is probably smaller in Velky Meder. I am not sure about the water quality but there were strange particles in the water, that is a fact. But the stuff cleaned the floor quite often, it is not easy to keep such a place super clean all the times. One time entry to sauna is also ridiculous. So for one day, if you are close, you can try it but we better go to Gyor or somewhere else...

Take enough time for stay. There are different pools with different temperature. The most people has been at 32-36 degrees pool, so a bit crowded there. But you have also a pool for a little children with only 30cm heigh water level. Food places with longer distances from main used pools has lower prices.Don’t expect any master gastronomic experience. Everything looks very similar and taste as that look like. But it is not about a food, but pools and they are very comfortable.

We visited this place as a family (2 adults and child at the age of 3) on a gloomy Friday in December 2017. We planned to stay for the whole day but in the end we spend solid 4 hours here. Place is only one hour distant from Bratislava, therefore it was our first but definitely not last visit here.
We liked warm pools where you can relax but also kids' attractions where our boy could play and we could be with him in the water. They have one of those super hot pools where you can swim outside while enjoying the warmth of the water.
First we had to get oriented as the kids' pool and attractions are not in one place with the warm pools and the main swimming pool. With little bit of assistance we were able to find and enjoy everything.
Be aware that wearing a swimming hat is a must when you want to use the main swimming pool with the swimming lanes. Other pools are accessible without swimming hat and here you can enjoy both inside and outside parts of the pool.
As we were visiting on Friday afternoon, there was no issue with parking. They charge 3 EUR for full day parking.
In the winter time, swimming and water possibilities are limited to indoor pools and those pools which also have outside pars. Good for couples or families with small kids. Teenagers could be little bit bored as we did not see any specific attractions for them beside two big indoor toboggans (only one was actually in use). Staff is relatively friendly and the place is clean.
We would definitely return here and we would recommend our friends to check this place.

We were there after the season was over, 6e for 3 hours, we had nothing to complain about (I'd like the swimming pool to be open longer, but I understand that it was getting cold there).

Vaste of money if compared to Hungarians thermals... Boring town, "thermals" = average aquapark,1 warm and several cold-water normal pools, paid switchback, rude staff,... The level of services does not match the price level.
There are just Czech people coming there, I did not see anybody else.
We tried for 2 days, but nevermore.

Relatively new park with inside and outside pools, baths and attractions. It is pricefriendly (entrance, not talking about restaurants), clean and looks very good.
