Love the great collection of trees and flowers. Don't know what they did the peacock and other birds. Great place to take pics.Suggestion: plant desert roses where you used to plant roses - the place is empty now.

Nice area to sit and listen to the birds. Cages were empty and didn't have birds in them, but plenty in the trees etc. Very green and well maintained. Little play ground for the kids to play. Overall very pleasant

This park is really close to the CBD - as are a lot of other great visitor sites in Townsville - and well worth including in a walking plan of the city.

This park has a fine display of trees and other plants of the dry tropics and rainforest, including some beautiful trees more than 100 years old. Unfortunately the aviary is now closed, but the park is still well worth a visit

A lovely park close to CBD - really enjoyed the stroll around the gardens. Due to lack of water not as green as usual. Trees etc labelled.
