The gardens are a lovely oasis for a quiet wander for garden lovers, families and for some alone time. We had an enjoyable time just having a break and enjoying the ambience.

The Gardens have deteriorated since my last visit approx. 20 years ago. The pond in the Japanese Garden used to be beautiful with ducks and swans. Now it is filthy with an oily film on the surface. There was nowhere to buy coffee or food....More

Don't be fooled by the name. The parts of the park which are free are not well-maintained. The pond is yucky, and the plants are not trimmed and growing haphazardly. You want "nicer" gardens, you have to PAY, such as the Japanese Garden. Pooh. Why...More

An excellent hidden treasure in Auburn That is open to everybody. Beautifully maintained with great walking tracks and plenty of areas for a picnic or just a peaceful sit down. Especially love the Japanese garden area, watching the koi is very restful.

Yes, I'd say most of the area is wheel chair accessible. Check with Auburn Council for confirmation and that there are accessible toilets. Definately at the Peacock Gallery across the road.
