Definitely THE beach if you are staying in Rincon. Plenty of places along the approach for a drink or meal. Thr beach vibe is alive and well here.

We spent time at a nearby park overlooking the beautiful beach. So peaceful and calm! We enjoyed watching some surfers catch a few waves too.

My partner and I are staying in the Rincon area. Our rental house had a great beach, but we decided to venture out and check out some of the local spots. We chose Domes Beach because it looked absolutely beautiful and it wasn't crowed at...More

This is a beach next to an old nuclear reactor (the whith Dome) that has white sands and beautiful palm trees. It's great for swimmers and for surfing. You can also watch whales during Jan-Feb months.

This is where they hold competitions for major surf events (or, one of the places). In winter, they can have waves of 20-40' breaking a half mile off shore. In the summer, it's pretty calm. The sand stops at the water so it's a very...More

We went to this beach to watch the sunset. There were lots of great spots to sit and enjoy the view-even a swing! There is a medium sized parking lot there, also.

Breath taking, lived here most of my life and I didn't know this existed. The atmosphere was amazing, local yet had a mixture of cultures like I have never experienced.

Bizarre to see the closed-down nuclear power plant --especially so close to the beach -- but a lovely spot right next to the lighthouse. Had bigger waves than usual for June while we were there, so had fun watching the surfers!
