This little island can be reached by vaporetto to Burano via a short bridge or get off the stop before Burano. Nothing much to do here but a nice stroll round the island with quiet and calming. Apparently it is also known as the cat...More

While staying on the island of Mazzorbo and walking around the island we wandered into this little church. The inside is beautiful and the outer courtyard is very picturesque. Highly recommended if you are already in Mazzorbo or walking over from Burano

Was built before 800. Beautiful in its simplicity. At the south of the island of Mazzorbo. Nice promenade from there to the bridge that links to Burano.

We happened to walk by and the local lady with keys opened the church. Ancient church and still used.

My friend and I stumbled upon this lovely little church with historic artifacts as we walked around Mazzorbo. It is lovely inside and there are some interesting ruins on display in the outer courtyard.
