A very nice, but short hike to this lovely waterfall. It was a short drive from Otavalo. There are a few shops near the entrance for shopping.

At the end of a hike, something beautiful awaits. Took an easy hike to this waterfall that awakens the soul! Super nice place to enjoy one of nature's wonders.

I think this maybe a disaster forming. The parck is nice, but extremely crafted with paths and fences. The waterfall starts naturally, but is manipulated near the bottom. Other sights at the parck seem made up (like the fertility tree) or recently made (like the...More

Wear comfortable shoes, carry a light backpack to take water, food and wet wipes. You can spend hours at the park, its very scenic and peaceful.... It's also near the Condor Park.

Peguche is a nice place near Otavalo. The waterfall is wonderful and it was not too crowded. You can walk on different paths and could have lunch as well.

Okay it's not the largest or greatest waterfall that you will ever see but when on a day trip from Quito it is a pleasant addition. It's about a 30m drop followed by smaller cascades. You get a short 10 minute walk to stretch your...More

This was an easy walk. I did not go all of the way around the falls but my daughter did and found it enjoyable. Bring a change of clothes - you will get wet and its chilly!

You could get a taxi, it would probably cost you $5.00. Walking is far an the bus would leave you in the road where you would still need to walk. Either way, the route is from the market towards the Panamericana road via... More
