You need to walk perhaps 500 m on a road with relatively much traffic leading from Prosecco before turning left onto a field. There are no signs visible on the road. Still, it is worth visiting.

World War 1 military cemetery
Jul 2014 • Friends
It was fitting that we visited the First World War Austro-Hungarian military cemetery because it was exactly 100 years since the start of the war. (1914-18) There is a small sign on the side of the road just before the village of Prosecco indicating the cemetery. After a short walk through the trees, you see the entrance down a flight of stone steps and guarded by a wrought-iron gate. Once through the gate you see identical small, stone ionic-cross (symbolic for eternal salvation) gravestones radiating out in rows. Each stone has the names of soldiers who died fighting in this area. Mostly there are 3 names but also sometimes, sadly, 5 unknown soldiers. Apparently, there are 5,050 buried here. Although the cemetery looks neglected with grass growing high, there is a tranquillity. We even saw a deer grazing.
