It doesn't seem so high from below, but once you're on it you better don't look down. Offers a spectacular view of the river and the cliffs around. To its end lays one of the entrances to the old Town.

It is worth the walk down to this bridge for the views back over the city and the "hanging houses". You can also walk down to the river and then back up to the parking lot by the castle ruins although you would need a...More

Not the most stunning or beautiful bridge but it does give great views and photo opportunities of the old city and the hanging houses. The height as it traverses the gorge does give it a little edge particularly if it's windy, if wary of heights...More

What is all the excitement about? Just a rickety foot bridge with a view of one side of the town. Was expecting so much more. View of "hanging houses ok but they aren't much.

A very impressive structure built over 100 years ago. Fairly narrow and sides are only waist high giving great views around and also looking down to floor of gorge.

The bridge is quite high but there is nothing special about the bridge itself. The view, however, is stunning!!

Its a steep walk to the bridge along a decent road. The bridge crosses right by the hanging houses so you see the best view of them. I am not good with heights but felt safe on the bridge as it is made of thick...More

Each step is an adventure when you cross this bridge. Vertigo is the enemy to fight, even if you are used to heights.

This bridge is the other symbol/image of Cuenca, the other being the Cantilevered house housing the abstract art collection. Definitely a picture spot and a challenge for the little ones and the elderly. Not only are views amazing so is the drop down below.

As previous replies - can all be accessed by car - but I would suggest avoiding peak periods in the old town.
