Nice and quiet place to visit. You see a lot of people crossing. You get a great view from the bridge. It moves a little bit while you walk on it.

Stunning views of the valley and the hanging houses. Excellent photo opportunity. we didn't visit the monastery on the other side though.

Not for the faint of heart! I must of crossed this bridge at least 6 times and every time was a unique experience.

As previous replies - can all be accessed by car - but I would suggest avoiding peak periods in the old town.

Bus ticket can be bought on line for a direct bus from Madrid to Cuenca. Madrid main bus station is two metro stops from Atocha train station. Bus takes 2 hours and drops you off in the newer part of Cuenca. From there... More
