The Palacio del Infantado is easily reachable with the C2 from Madrid and is on the same line as the UNESCO university town of Alcala. However, you need to either walk 20 minutes plus into town or find a bus since there where no taxis...More

Cute palace that you wouldn't expect to see in the middle of a normal town. Beautifully sculptured and a nice courtyard. Free to enter. A portion of the palace was under construction but still was able to appreciate it's beauty.

A very interesting building with a great patio. The impact of lavish architectural decorations of the patio is enhanced by the background of burgundy walls. Definitely worth a visit.

Worth a visit if in town. Interesting building and Architecture, The Palacio is used for photo shoots for weddings. Plenty of street parking nearby. Quite town with pedestrian walkways with restaurants and cafes. Interesting place to stop whilst touring inland Spain.

Visited Guadalajara for a couple of hours en route to Madrid-Barajas. A "normal" town with no significant tourist activities, meaning cafes etc. are real and for the locals. The Palacio is a big, impressive building and is the principal tourism attraction in the city.
