Sit at a cafe, restaurant, or even in two camping grounds right on the water, go down and put your feet in the pale sand. Go in the beautiful water and enjoy the coolness on a roasting hot day. Or walk a very short distance to the rocks and see the small fish flitting to and fro in the rock... More

Loved the beach! Warm water, soft sand and plenty of room to lay down and work on the tan or have a nap. Did see little fishes swimming in the water which the kids loved. Definitely a visit!!

Main beach is located just by Hasting St (which is by the way great!!) the beach is so nice, I totally loved it! There are some restaurants and so along but mostly accommodation. Lovely to even just walk along the beach.

Great people watching and a beautiful beach. Avoid the weekends if possible when it's really busy and crowded. Surf isn't too rough so it's good for smaller kids and families.

Lovely fine sandy beach, was protected from the winds due to the headland. The water was very clear and refreshing with gentle waves. You can hire surfboards, umbrella's on the beach, handy to Hastings street facilities, showers, surf club and refreshments. Has a nice boardwalk to sit and relax and watch the sunset/sunrise over the mountains in the distance. Just... More

Most beaches we have visited in Australia are nearly empty. This isn't one of those beaches. It is hugely popular, both with families and with surfers. Good sand, and large waves. But if you want solitude then you're going to have to walk a long way along the beach, and even then......

The town overshadows the beach experience with great shops and restaurants. The beach is good but not many green or shade areas needed on a hot day. Nevertheless, Noosa offers a great package!
