Until April, only one section of the track is available to use as there are upgrades in progress from the other car park and camping ground. You need to check the national parks website for this information or go into the Deloraine Info Centre for advice. It really is a lovely walk through amazing tree ferns - superb! Don't miss... More

Normally, Liffey Falls is a great place to visit, however, a few days ago we travelled up there from Launceston to have another walk. We discovered that both the walking trail and the falls were closed off. In addition, the gravel road was in bad condition. I would recommend that you check to see whether the falls have re-opened prior... More

All I can say is we were so excited to see these falls, we had come from Devonport, drove to Launceston to pick up my sister and then drove back on ourselves as to fit these in (we were headed for Cradle Mountain) and the roads were all dirt and gravel, quite steep and windy... took about half an hour... We drove towards Liffey Falls however there was a sign inside the park saying the road was closed! This was very disappointing. Be warned to check, prior to driving all the way there.

If some reserves are going to be closed, the signs need to be put on the turn offs, starting from the town that people will be driving from, not turn up and sorry road closed make people drive right into the area

Road to get to the falls is closed to vehicles and pedestrians. No signs or information online until you arr pretty much at the falls. Wasted most of the morning travelling to get here for absolutely no benefit

We were really looking forward to doing the longer walk to Liffey falls but when we arrived.. Road closed for human beans and cars. Went up to the upper car park to do the short walk instead, road also closed. So, be warned as parks tas didn't have this on the Liffey falls page. 😭😭😭😭😭

Liffey Falls are well worth the hike in. We started at the bottom car park, I understand there is a top one which starts you a bit closer. The walk takes you along the river and through some incredible pristine forests. The water was like glass it was remarkable. The path was mostly well kept with some big wooden bridges,... More

These falls are amazing! Not the biggest ones I've seen, but definitely one of the most beautiful. Don't miss it!
