We are "cave pedestrians" and enjoyed the Jenolan caves in NSW, and Lurray and Skyline in the USA. One in our party previously visited the Tantanoola SA caves that were reported as smaller but more colourful and more visually interesting. The Narcoorte Wet Cave (main cave for the casual visitor) is of modest size, not colourful nor having impressive stalactites... More

Hubby and I have visited many good limestone caves in the past, but the Victoria Fossil Cave is different and very special. It's well worth a visit if you are interested in fossilised bones and caves. The guided tour went for more than an hour and was very interesting. We learnt a lot about how the cave was found and... Cave tour was brilliant. It was another world and we were transported to prehistoric life. Fascinating and weird.

We really enjoyed out tour of the Victoria Cave. The guide was pleasant and knowledgeable, and we learned a lot. Certainly worth seeing.

These are not in any way the most spectacular caves you will see but have interest all of their own. The calcite formations have their own quirks as do all but the cave where 30 tonnes of fossilised animal bones were unearthed is unique. The tours are informative, not arduous and can be fitted into a morning. An additional cave,... More

A great national park ground with clean amenities. Even have some concrete, powered sites! A great spot to stop and then go and explore the caves. Worth a visit!

We made a direct beeline for this place knowing that it had good reviews. It is one of South Australia's few World Heritage listed sites and we could see why once we visited. We took the tour and the Guide was fantastic, knew her stuff and always added a sense of humour to various parts. The caves were amazing. The... More

A hidden adventure for the whole family. Victoria caves were the best but any would be great to explore. There are also bushwalks around the caves. It was a very hot day but cool inside the caves. I was not prepared to see the enormous fossils. Good for a school trip.

The Victoria caves were amazing, the guide was funny and provided some really cool facts about the caves. It was cool to be so far under ground and see something 10s of thousands years old
