Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We embarked on the Taste of the Aussie Camino with Natasha in September and it was fantastic! My husband and I (both teachers in Secondary Catholic schools), did this to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary.

Having Natasha to guide us made it such a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Quality company, food and accommodation overall.

Natasha had a wonderful ability to help you connect with nature as part of the experience as she’s incredibly knowledgeable of the area and we had some great discussions about MacKillop.

If you are completing this from a pilgrimage perspective, I highly recommend if coming from Adelaide that you visit the museum in Kensington before the Camino. On the last day of the walk, you get to visit the Penola museum which caps off the experience beautifully - learning about MacKillop and Tennison-Woods.

There are no other Camino tours that take you to the Naracoorte caves and this is a pretty special place - Natasha is very knowledgeable being a former tour leader at the caves.

Highlights for our trip
- Penola (make sure you get up early , grab a coffee from the bakery across the road from the pub and then explore Petticoat lane on the last day). The museum and schoolhouse in particular were fantastic.
- The stay at beautifully renovated church in Kalangadoo
- Climbing Mt Schank volcano, seeing the lakes in MtGambier.
- lunch at the winery on the last day - delicious!

If I was to do the trip again, I’d still sign up to Natasha’s tour even though I know the way now - wonderfully organised, great company and great value for money!

Must do - follow Tash’s advice and bring blistex and knee high gaiters! No blisters for me in 5 days of walking.
Highly recommend walking poles also.
I am 41 with a bad left knee so knee guards and hikers wool are helpful as the sandstone is hard underfoot. I also changed between hiking boots one day, well padded joggers the next. The pace was great, not too early starts - no feeling if being rushed at all.

In July 2023 I joined four other hikers and hiked with Natasha on the Taste of the Aussie Camino. I came away from that walk so happy that I did as the experience was so much more than expected. Natasha is warm, friendly, very organised, professional, informative and embraced all the hikers as family/friends. It is wonderful she is a local as we also met some gorgeous characters along the way…

We stayed in lovely accomodation and ate gorgeous food…

The last day in Penola was a gorgeous day especially enjoying a special lunch and touring the local caves…an important day for spoiling oneself. But the highlight was the Mary MacKillop centre…

I will always remember this walk with fond memories and so glad I was able to tick it off my bucket list….

Can’t wait to join Natasha on another amazing hike as I know I won’t

The Coola Station Circuit - Canunda
The Heysen Trail - Cape Jervis
The Aussie Camino - Port MacDonnell - Penola

I've walked on three different hikes with Tash, a one day hike and two multi-day hikes. Tash is a passionate and very knowledgable guide and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend booking a trip with Walk the Limestone Coast. I love that the groups are small and the service is personal and tailored to helping you enjoy the experience.

My second walk in July 2021 was the first three sections of the Heysen Trail from Cape Jervis. With the confidence I felt after doing the walk with Tash and with her advice and help, I decided to walk on for a few more days solo into Victor Harbour. The bug was well and truly caught and I can't thank Tash enough for starting me on my Heysen adventure!

Tash's enthusiasm is infectious and I have now hiked 42 sections of the 61 sections of the trail, some as day walks and some as overnight tent or hut hiking, mostly walking solo as time permits. I would never have done this if not for that first few days with Tash and our small group.

If I can wrangle my holiday dates, the next trip would be the Grampians with Tash, it looks amazing!

My husband & I hiked the southern end of the Peaks Trail, Grampians, with Natasha & three others, which was spectacular. The bush trails up & down the mountains are truly wonderful - changing vegetation with a variety of wildlife! We found Natasha to be warm & friendly, & full of knowledge of the region. She is a well organised, professional guide. If you love hiking, we highly recommend joining Natasha on one of her walks/hikes.

Joining a Grampians walk led by Natasha gave me an opportunity to experience that amazing landscape in person rather than from the plains below, through the car windows! It was exceptional! Days are well planned but don't feel regimented, there is time to enjoy the stunning vistas and little details such as wildlife and plants. I've enjoyed three walks with Natasha and always come home with a sense of having unwound from the busy-ness of life. Highly recommended!

Natasha led 5 of us walkers for 5 days on the southern section of the Grampians Peaks Trail (GPT). It was fantastic. It's not an easy walk, where we were either ascending or descending ridges and peaks, most with far-reaching views. However, thousands of hand-placed natural stone steps made progress sure and steady. We were almost entirely in natural scrub surrounded by wildflowers with the occasional appearance of wildlife. I was particularly chuffed (haha) with the birdlife; Gang Gang cockatoos and Wedge Tailed Eagles.
Natasha showed excellent leadership skills, being very professional and cheerful at all times. The accommodation and evening meals she provided were superb and in keeping with the nature of our walks.
****** 6 stars out of 5 from me.
(and a big thank you to the GPT designers and builders).

I highly recommend Natasha and her nature hikes. My mum and I joined a Southern Grampians Tour with Natasha last year. The trip was very well organised and the hikes offered something for everyone. Natasha is warm, engaging and her knowledge of the local landscapes is exceptional. We both enjoyed the daily hikes and the restorative yoga in the evening to wind down was absolutely perfect. The meals and accomodation were also spot-on! Even though we were hiking most days, at the end of the trip my mind and body felt rested and rejuvenated. Book a tour with Natasha, you won't regret it.
