Tragic really. The displays look cheap & amateur, probably make the kids happy, but an utter waste of time for an adult who is not fixated on such tried looking sort-of taxidermy

Animatronics!!!
Feb 2021
Very strange but quite enjoyed seeing all the animatronic giant animals. You can buy a combo ticket for this and the Stick Tomato cave to save some cash too, which we did.

An exploration of Australian mega fauna, and the fossils found in the various caves. The ticket also includes access to the Stick Tomato Cave.

Great

Fossil centre is filled of info of all the caves you can enter and a small museum about the animals that were here long ago. Grab your cave tickets here for a number of caves. Friendly staff will help you with tours and anything you else you'd like to know.

Fascinating !

Take some time to check out (and read about) all the fossilised remains on display in this Centre. I suggest arriving at least half an hour before your chosen cave tour, in order to soak up the ancient history of the area. Certainly worth a visit.

Great collection of Fossils and information about the area. Tour arrangements can be planned for this Centre. Great place to visit if around the area.

Entrance point for the caves
Dec 2018 • Solo
This is basically the starting point for visiting the individual Naracoorte Caves. It's best to book the website for each cave as they will be booked at different times, but people were turning up on the day and booking on the spot, so you can take your chances.

The inside is quite small with a few skeletons and re-constructions of animals that were found in the caves from 100,000's of years past, and there is a description on the walls about each cave to help you decide which ones to visit, including one cave which does not require a guide and you can visit in your own time.
You only really need to spend 5 or 10 minutes here, but there is a large carpark and toilets and even a cafe if you need it.

Tad overpriced

With the amount of money that the caves cost it would be good if this was free. Still well worth a look and very interesting
