Leura Mall is a must if you are visiting the mountains. Plenty of shops to browse, with different things than your average suburban shops. Many cafes, plus the cherry tree lined main road with visiting cockatoos. Its usually cooler up here, so check the forecast before you come. Also, weekends are very busy. You can park easily in the adjacent... More

A mixture of gift shops, some can be expensive, and some reasonable cafes and restaurants. It lacks some appeal as it has no views and most are in the region to enjoy some of the most wonderful views possi. ble

There are so many charming little shops to explore. Some are admittedly a little pricey but really beautiful and unique pieces can be found here. Megalong Books was a great find and I could have spent hours there. Service was fantastic and they helped to gift wrap books for Christmas with a donation to indigenous literacy. Great stuff!

Lots of little shops selling trashy goods that are over priced. Hardly a single shop that sells usable items at a good price.

This is a beautiful area of the mountains with some really unique places to shop. However, the staff at Whisk (a homewares store) were so cruel and condescending it has ruined the scenery for me. So enjoy with caution, if they smell blood they will go in for the kill. Horrible horrible treatment, not just as customer, but as a... More
