My wife and I went to Scenic World over the Easter weekend. This was not a great ideas as the crowds going to the Blue Mountains are huge and of course many bus loads of people also go to Scenic World. My wife and I spent a couple of hours here but the found the rides a little underwhelming and... More

The Scenic World was too touristy for me. I would have rather spent the time hiking the trails in the blue mountains then spend my time waiting in line for the sky ride or the train. I didn't think it was worth the price.

Unfortunately it is vastly different from what I remember as a child. We thought in attending on a Monday we could avoid a lot of the crowds other reviews have described on the weekends. Unfortunately, this was not the case... there are tourists arriving by the bus load all day, one after another. It was so crowded we could barely... More

Scenic World offers great entertainment in the form of seeing the world heritage listed Blue Mountains through scenic rides such as World's steepest Scenic Railway, Cable car, Skyway. If one has time they can do scenic walk too. Unlimited rides are offered however you could only do 1 ride every hour as it's always crowded and busy with tourists and... More

Do not go to the Blue Mountains without visiting Scenic World. What an excellent experience. The steepest railway, cable cars, boardwalks and the cableway. So much to see and do, places to explorer, we visited when there were setting up there sculptures so got a sneak peak at a few! Staff were all fantastic, helpful and enthusiastic. Whole place was... We visited on a Saturday in the school holidays. We intended to buy our tickets when we got there. On our arrival at Scenic World by car we found it to be absolutely packed with cars. When we arrived at the carpark entrance at 1030am we were told that unless we had prebooked tickets on us, Scenic World was full.... More

This is a great attraction in the blue mountains. I would recommend you go first thing in the morning 9am that way you won't be lining up for things we did that and when the lines got too big left and came back again in the late afternoon

The Blue Mountains are really beautiful with magnificent scenery, great hikes, beautiful nature and some nice little towns. Just avoid scenic world : the cable rides don't add anything to the experience. They're really expensive , they don't give you any beautiful views on the Three Sisters or any other part of the scenery and are jsut boring. If you go... More

Don't miss this beautiful site with rain forests, rock formations, and in our case, a sculpture garden exhibit.

We had a great time there in scenic world but since here are only 3 rides, the wait for each ride is too long. It says unlimited ride but you can probably do no more than 1 or 2 each hour..... If it's not for the trail walks you could be bored just watching.
