Visited beach on our way through. Had netted area to avoid the stingers and cross. Plenty of area to lay down and sun-baked.

A few stingers on in the water, but a great beach for a stroll at any time of the day. Water was clean and warm.

Stayed at Peppers Palm Cove, first time to Palm Cove, what a hidden treasure. Will be definitely be going back to relax and enjoy the great food and restaurants. There is so many types of food restaurants to choose from and you can do the tourist things or you can relax

We visited in November which was the off season so the beach was not packed which was lovely. The only downfall to that time of year is it is stinger season so we spent a lot of time in the pool.

Quaint village 27 km North from Cairns. We stopped by on our way up to Port Douglas. It has lots of hotels, holiday homes, villas and BnBs spread around the general area but they are mostly lined up along the Esplanade. Boutiques /restos are there too with convenience stores for your general needs.Lovely stretch of beach including massive Melaleuca trees ( paperback... More

Beautiful looking beach but not being able to swim is frustrating at this time of the year due to stingers and crocs. There is a netted area for you to swim in however this may not prevent stingers or crocodiles. There had been some heavy rain so there was quite a lot of debris on the beach so people were... More

Beautiful picturesque town between Cairns and Port Douglas. Lovely beach although you are not able to swim freely due to jellyfish and crocodiles.
