The top pools and waterfall at Emma gorge are truly beautiful. The walk itself is nothing special and could be difficult (but achievable) for the elderly, or those with very young kids. Worth the effort if you're in the area.

We went for the Emma Gorge walk on the weekend. It was a difficult walk - but really worth it. You can revive yourself with a lovely cold drink at the cafe.

Absolutely beautiful! Wear proper trekking shoes and sunscreen, and don't forget your swimmers. The waterhole is stunning. Freezing, but stunning

The walk to the Emma Gorge pool is easy. At the start and gets progressively harder. That said by taking time towards the end I believe that the majority of people can get to see the pool and the falls. Go early, circa 0700. You...More

Wow, what a great place. Follow the blood trail to the 17 degree water. Wear decent walking shoes and take water, it's hot!

This is a fairly strenuous walk scrambling over rocks and mostly uneven ground - it's a good hour each way and best to leave as near to sunrise as you can as it becomes very hot and sticky clambering over the rocks in the hot...More

Morning tea break during the tour of the El Questro station. A pleasant oasis and popular with a range of travellers.

Arrived early before it got too hot and too busy and the majority of the climb was in the shade. Bit of a hike and you would need to be steady on your feet (and don't wear thongs !) but once you reach the top...More
