Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Chapelle Santa Cristina
Cervione
15th Century Chapel with Frescoes

Grid Ref 42.3348209,9.4983911,15.48z (Paste into Google Maps)
This tiny chapel is quite difficult to find. You could walk it from Cervione but starting the visit by car is a big advantage. The instructions in the Rough Guide make its location sound obvious but you actually need to drive quite a little way East on the D71 out of Cervione to pick up a small direction sign on your left. There are more small signs, some handwritten and you can park up on the narrow verge, and if you like take a small trail down a steep path.
The Rough Guide says that the 'key is in the door' but I'm thinking their author maybe didn't visit and got instructions to the church in Mucchieto!
Needless to say the frescoes are too precious to leave unprotected. We couldn't get access and being Saturday we were unable to ask about access at the Mairie in Mucchieto. Start there!
