A nice small trail with a small tower and few resting places with sitting places. Straight road takes you on a walk next to different small ponds. There are also a few boards with information about bogs, swamps, habitants and flora. Might be pretty windy.

Came by bus from Tartu on a Sunday. Doing the whole trail took about 3 hours with some stops along the way. The view both from the ground and watch tower were lovely. The trail is well taken care of and not very difficult. Perfect for a half-day nature hike if your staying in Tartu.

It is easy accessible hiking trail, only 6 km from the town of Tartu. Because of river and large ponds, there are a lot of birds around. We walked during spring season. It was pleasant and easy walk (but be aware of possibility of high water). There were a lot of fishermen around.
More than 200 bird spices have been counted in this area.

Personally I do not know much about birds, but even during this short walk we saw a lot of interesting water birds I never have seen in Estonia before. Birdwathcing tower, wooden bridge, nice picnic area and toilet can be found as well.
