The beach is Great but seem access is from a private property

We were here in December 2016. After a nice drive, easy to get lost, we finally arrived. There is a big white fence and a big gate. Apparently this seem where you enter. We... read more

We were here in December 2016. After a nice drive, easy to get lost, we finally arrived. There is a big white fence and a big gate. Apparently this seem where you enter. We managed to get through as the security guard there will let us in with a tip. They said that the public access is a bit further... More

Off the beaten path, a new development is being built on the point, once completed you won't be able to get to it from the road thru the condos, only off road thru the mangroves. The beach is deserted, a wonder of 1/2 mile white sand with views of an offshore island.

Lovely playa with beautiful turquoise seas and no seaweed to impede your walking pleasure. Great views.

I wish i could live here, this beach is great, the only thing i found irritating, a lot of gnats and mosquitoes. There is a beach next to this one (to the right) that is better because no one goes there, you have to go using a car/motocycle or 4wheeler, there's also a river close (to the left) if you... More

No beach is private in the DR, but sometimes the access is. In this case the public access is complicated, but it doesn't matter since you will find a beautiful beach, small, protected by two small rocky peaks. Some waves to make it more fun. Some locals come to enjoy it. And some of them offer you piña colada, Presidente... More

Playa MORÓN is worth the trip! It is secluded and beautiful trip! Our favorite part is a lobster feast on the beach. Chefs Chencho, Juli, and Arturo will take care of you- tell them that Stephanie sent to! Also enjoy a Piña Colada en the pineapple made by Jose Miguel or Luis. Such a terrific time, great food, and wonderful... More

We took a drive down from our villa and wanted to get away from the crowds a friend recommended this spot. Took a little asking to find the right turn off, but we drove down, through the jungle and boom... Heaven all to ourselves. Surf was a little strong that day, but we are both solid swimmers and dive regularly... More

This is the perfect beach to visit if you want to have it all to yourself (well, yourself, and a couple of school-aged boys trying to sell you homemade pina coladas and fish). Be prepared drive on a road filled with potholes and park your car outside of a gated community (but it's definitely worth the trip). Next, you will... More

Been to a more amazing beach. There is nothing at this beach so bring what you need. It is off the beaten path. So glad we found it.
