We were looking for road conditions, places to stay and general info. The staff were excellent and looked up info online as well as sharing own local knowledge

Very helpful and informative staff guided us on best options to spend our short time in Wangaratta. We had a delightful time at Warby Ovens NP exploring the waterfalls and lookouts.

Well Done City of Wangaratta, for maintaining and keeping this great old building. This Information is centre is well stocked with Information leaflets, and very helpful staff. They do run normal 9-5ish trading hours so be carful of that.

I made a telephone inquiry to which the centre needed to confirm their information I required and told me that they would call back which they promptly did with an answer.

I found the lady to be very helpful and friendly. She gave me information on places to visit and even draw on the map for me how to get there.

Phoned the visitor information centre from melb as I was wanting to organise accommodation before I arrived. It happened to be a busy weekend as there was a car show of sorts in a close by town. The person I spoke to have me a cpl of options but phoned back later to give me a cpl more that had... More

I went to the visitor centre in search of some stickers for my caravan, but they don't sell them, the girl told me that people keep asking for them, well wouldn't that be a hint to start stocking them? OMG!!!!

The staff of the information centre are always ready to offer advice and directions to any tourist attraction, accommodation and local activities, as they are very knowledgable and keen to share. There are copious pamphlets and information literature available for tourists to peruse and access with the help of the attentive staff.

We were surprised to find various things here that we wanted to own - usually Info Centres are just full of pamphlets for places you never want to go to - but some of the local arty crafty stuff was worth a visit. Like Wangaratta itself, the centre was much more entertaining than we expected.
