This is a new walking track for medium to fit walkers. It takes you through native forests, similar to the Routeburn track. There is a stream running throughout and it's beautiful. It is still in the making but the track well formed as far as it goes. Takes about 1-2 hours return. One of the best around and easy access.

I did this walk with my wife and my dad who is in his 60s. It is an excellent walk lovely views at the end. It undulates through the valley and there are some shallow creek crossings. It took us about 3.5 hours return. Eating wild strawberries picked beside the track was lovely!

I walked along part of the Bush Creek Trail as part of a loop with the Sawpit Gully Track. The Bush Creek portion was easily walkable without hiking gear and would be a peaceful, shady walk suitable for families.

Very picturesque trail along side the creek, although somewhat slippery underfoot with ice. Great isicles on the stream bank!

Love this walk, esp in summer as your in the shade, walking through forest for the majority of it. It's a good walk, steep in places but beautiful, esp when you reach the top and look out over the Wakatip basin. My grandchildren have walked up to the dam, 5yr old loved it.

We went to this trail from behind the little town. It was so pretty with lots of beautiful trees and views. Lots of walkers and dogs. We went along until the first bridge. It was so cool and refreshing and peaceful.

A great character walk that takes you along the Arrow River, adjacent to the Bush Creek, through native forests, tussock fields and ends with a beautiful view of Dalefield. The fully extended trail takes about two hours and is definitely worth a try.

1 - as a mountain biker of medium fitness - a great ride/push up towards Coronet, well maintained but technical enough. Beautiful, interesting and challenging - the ride down is super fun. Too steep to ride up parts, fully un-ride-able in the winter. 2 - as a parent - just beautiful and so calming as a wander up to the... More

This is a great track to walk. Can be muddy and you may get your feet damp, however it is well worth while pushing on to the end of the track to the ridge line for some great views of the Wakatipu basin. The round trip from Arrowtown takes approx 4 hours.

There are many places to enter and exist this walk. We did the full track at a leisurely stoll enjoying the river from both sides. The path is wide enough for 2 to 3 people . One needs to be aware of those cycling, and dogs. All the dogs we met were very well behaved and seemed to love going... More

This area is sheer beauty, only seen it in summer so not sure what it is like when it is white but this walk gives you different options depending on your fitness levels. Definitely worth doing walking along the foothills and being in awe of the surrounds.
