Definitely worth the short drive from Queenstown for a morning browsing quaint craft shops and a good brunch. Could fill in a whole day if you add a walk, bungy jump or jet boat ride (or all of the above if you’re game!),

Ideal place of quaint pure charm. The high street of heritage buildings and small miner's cottages is lovely. Full of good shops-including the remarkable sweet shop. Good place to be away from headiness of Queenstown. I enjoyed a lot.

What a great find, looks like a movie set. Quaint little shops line the Main Street. 1 street back you can even pan for gold in the small crystal clear stream. If your staying in Queenstown take the short trip to Arrowtown.

Visited on Monday 7th May. We parked down by the river and went for a walk around this quaint village. Just like stepping back in time.

April/May is a beautiful time in Arrowtown with the trees in full Autumn colour. April is also when the Arrowtown Autumn Festival is on.
