Definitely worth the short drive from Queenstown for a morning browsing quaint craft shops and a good brunch. Could fill in a whole day if you add a walk, bungy jump or jet boat ride (or all of the above if you’re game!),
Ideal place of quaint pure charm. The high street of heritage buildings and small miner's cottages is lovely. Full of good shops-including the remarkable sweet shop. Good place to be away from headiness of Queenstown. I enjoyed a lot.
My family and I have been staying in Queenstown for the past week, we came to Arrowtown for a look around. It's a beautiful little town with a couple of clothing stores, gift shops and cafes around the main street.

What a great find, looks like a movie set. Quaint little shops line the Main Street. 1 street back you can even pan for gold in the small crystal clear stream. If your staying in Queenstown take the short trip to Arrowtown.
