Bit dirty. Condom wrapper on step and questionable people hanging around with police tracking devices on their ankles and no swimmers on, made us wonder why they were there and made us feel uncomfortable. Belongings did not feel safe unfortunately. It also smelt and had dirty debris on surface. Would have been lovely otherwise.

Mother Nature at her best. Totally unspoilt. You feel like you are back at the beginning of time! This natural sauna and mineral spa leaves you feeling refreshed and invigorated.

I don't want to be unfair as it appears to be under reconstruction. However it's currently well behind other facilities in the area. No changing room or toilets close to the water and a lot of litter. Hopefully will be a lot better when completed.

A short 10 minute walk from our campsite were the beautiful Katherine Hot Springs. Although they should perhaps be named Warm Springs, these stunning crystal clear springs are a great place to unwind and relax. There are steps into the springs for easier access and also a wheelchair friendly access path. If you walk another 200 or 300 meters upstream... More

A great locals spot for a well groomed natural pool. Not hot at all as the name suggests and is a welcome cool bath. Numerous entry points with steps for those who may struggle otherwise. Is known to get crocs in it from time to time but there weren't any when we visited. Just ask the locals for more info... More

The Katherine Hot Springs are in a small creek, there have been set up with seating and ladders into the water. The use of the springs is free and the water is fine. The place is home to Little red flying foxes and so the odour of them can be a bit over powering.

The springs are a natural wonder and so welcome after a lengthy drive to Katherine. The local authorities have done a fabulous job as the springs are now presented beautifully yet still so natural. The water is warm and crystal clear, very relaxing and refreshing, the viewing area is also well done so it is relatively easy to keep an... More

The springs are clear & clean water which is a nice break from the long drive. Take notice of the local warning of crocodiles but not over alarmed a tourists over reactions. The local authorities are quick to alert you is a croc has been sited.
