The swim at the top is spectacular! Be warned that the 1km hike can be difficult in areas so would recommend some proper footwear. Definitely a beautiful spot and a must see if travelling through the Territory.

There are 2 tracks to get to the top pool. We unknowingly took the harder and longer track to walk, especially with three bare-feet kids. Whichever track you take it is well worth visiting this magnificent fall. If you are after a bush walk as well ,take the longer track. Do this before it gets too hot, as there is... More

Camp at Edith falls or just a day visit, choice is yours but if you will find you want to stay longer. There are only unpowered campsites available and no generators so you must be prepared. However there is a small shop there serving lunches tea coffee and Im sure breakfast. We had to buy a box of matches as... More

We visited at the end of the wet season and I'm glad we did. Although swimming wasn't permitted at this time it was a beautiful place to stop at and have a look around. Will be returning next time we are up there

This is good for a moderate half day hike. When the parks rangers say it's clear you can swim in the different level pools.

We took he long way in by accident which adds about 30 min extra to the walk. Happy as you get to see more. The falls are beautiful and laid back place to swim, it looks like it gets busy at times. The current of the water is strong. The quick walk out is easy and well used. This is... More

Edith Falls was our NT favourite. Yes, the bottom pool is currently closed but that infomation is easy to find online on the Nt.gov.au website. The longer walk up to the top plunge pool which is open for swimming is quite easy with the kids and well worth the effort. Make sure you stop at Bemang lookout for gorgeous views.... More

A short walk takes you to one of the best natural swimming spots in the NT. If you get on the walk to the high pool a little early (before 830am) you can have the whole place to yourself; A little piece of paradise. Have a coffee at the kiosk afterwards :-)
