Visited in the wet season so very impressive but water level was very high so crocs could enter the pool - therefore no swimming was allowed. Still worth the visit though as they are quite something!

Our family walked and swam in the rain during the wet season the conditions only added to the fun. The paths were clear, safe and well presented. This is a great time of year to see this part of Aus. Well Done, we will be...More

Being wet season, Edith is closed to swimming. However the waterfall is spectacular and the flow of water really something to see. The drive in is lovely and it is a good place to just sit and have lunch.

A short trip (60 km) from Katherine. The main swimming area was popular. We did the Leliyn Trail, which is a 2.6 km walk to the Upper Falls area. It is a grade 3 (moderate) walk, but beware - it felt quite taxing in the...More

When we visited in April 2017 there was an abundance of water coming over the falls. The pool was closed to swimming which was a pity and some of the walk ways were inaccessible. This did nothing to spoil our visit though, as we knew...More

Glad we made the effort to walk to the upper Pool. What a beautiful waterfall and stunning scenery. If you have done the Gunlom walk in Kakadu this is a breeze but as usual take it easy in the heat and take heaps of water....More

Yes it sealed & can take a camper there to cafe & grassed areas. There is a short trail up over & down to the actual falls itself.

Not far at all. About 30-40 min drive north on the main Stuart highway. There is a well marked sign on the right and a paved road to the parking lot. The trail loop going up to the various lagoons and waterfalls is well... More
