Interesting but small centre about Aboriginal history. When planning your trip you only need 10 minutes here. If you're short of give it a miss.

I really enjoyed walking around the display and reading about Aboriginal Culture, especially in the Kakadu region. I loved seeing the different tools and methods used for every day living. Please note no photographs or videos can be taken throughout the centre. I hope that people will respect this request.

Great to find out more about the traditional land owners of the land. We walked over from Cooinda. 2km return. Had to ask for directions to get started as the track entrance is covered by a row of trees. Or maybe we just did a boy look.

It's a easy walk from the Cultural Centre to two sets of rock art. The third set is a bit of a climb but several in our group were pleased they made the effort. Unfortunately there was no-one there to tell us the significance of the art work, which was a pity. Inside the museum was cool and well organised.... More

They have a nice display of Aboriginal artwork here and an impressive gift shop with many varieties of paintings. Well worth a visit!

This museum has quite a bit of information about the local aboriginal groups. You have to take your time to digest it all and read the numerous plaques with interesting information. There is also a good-size shop that sells misc items including a large selection of books about the aboriginal culture and art work from local aboriginal artists. An interesting... More

Must do for a very comprehensive insight into aboriginal culture and history. Leave yourself at least an hour to browse through.

This cultural centre is set in a beautifully designed building and the displays are excellent. It really puts the cultural context of local indigenous culture in perspective, and I found that I laterenjoyed looking with more knowledge at things I saw in Kakadu like rock art. There is also a large gift shop with everything from plastic tourist kitsch to... More

This is a must when visiting Kakadu. We loved the exhibits, but had difficulty reading them at time because of the lack of lighting. It was a shame that Kakadu overall is so poorly funded by the Australian Government as tourists were plentiful but rangers and exhibits clearly needed more funding.
