This portrayal of early Nelson is certainly worth a visit. An excellent place to take visitors and to top it all off, a very nice cafe/eatery and brewery on site. What more could you want on a nice sunny Nelson day.

An interesting place to wander to see the development & history of the Nelson region. Plenty of old building showing the original goods & services of bygone eras. A small train to ride on and Founders Brewery & Cafe to relax in

A wonderful display of heritage buildings ideally suited for family groups, particularly during school holidays. Lots of attractions including a video on how to use the apple sorter. Check out the cargo plane as well.

Called here near the end of the day but imagine during busy periods that there'd be great atmosphere. We enjoyed going into the buildings which were relocated from Nelson when developers arrived in the 70's and they've been saved and set in a 'village' setting....More

Founders Park is a bit of history captured. A museum that is a whole town of shops and houses AND a railway. The plane is a bit surprising too; how did that get in there??? Add to that a cafe and brewery and you've got...More
