We spent a good 2 hours looking around the park, enjoying a train ride and sampling the beer. A must-see in Nelson.

This is a great place for folk of all ages. Walk down memory lane and see 100 yr old shops , vintage fire engines and old planes. Similar to Motat in Auckland but with the bonus of sampling Founders Brews during your visit. Do not miss it!

This place is a must if you are visiting Nelson. Once through the entrance door you step back in time as you visit the shops, Church, Granary, Railway and Cafe. Re enactments take place there for Anzac Day plus many more outdoor Theatre events during the year.

The park has a collection of old buildings from Nelson region. Some are used to house shops and artist studios. Founders also has its own brewery and cafe. It's a good day out for the family.

This is a great place to bring kids and enjoy the historic displays and the playgrounds. There is food and drink available, and the train rides are fun for the little kids. Good venues for the regular festivals and shows held here.

Visited twice first time to a Jazz event and then for a good look round. Well kept open air exhibition site with suitable exhibits indoor for inclement weather.

Even though it was a rainy day we still enjoyed Founders Park. There is lots to see and some interesting history discover. It's not far out of Nelson city centre.
