A ruin with man made routes to explore and see the views. We camped here, enjoyed the large campfire place. Great hiking stop and a clean and interesting point of Slavic history to enjoy. Reminding if Pajštún. Easily accessible ONLY when you arrive from the right direction (we came from behind and climbed it 🤪) - there are holes and ex-dams around. Also, the paths inside are at times high up, so maybe not the best to go with small children.

This castle is hidden in the forest nearby the town. It takes 15 min to get there. But worth it! Ruins of this mid size castle are interesting, made in 3 circles, still gives you feeling of former glory. People usually come to do bbq as well. Who likes history or romantic castles, these ruins are suitable on to it.

This castle ruin is a good visit. Easy accessable. Park at the church and walk up the road and look out for the small sign when you have take the Road on the left side.

Biely kameň is just a ruin but I never knew about it despite it lies very close from the village. It was a nice easy trip to learn about the history of this place. I recommend it to all you history and hiking lovers.

Good trip for visit of "Biely Kamen" which is only 10 minutes by walking from the hotel Eva. It´s situated in a quiet nature with nice trees.

Slovakia has more than its share of castle and castle ruins. This is better than most as it is atop a hill in the middle of forest. There are still large sections of wall and buildings in place, as well as ditches below the wall.
It is a pleasant walk from the town square up the hill and then following the yellow marked track to the castle ruins.
I'd not visit Svaty Jur just for the ruins, but is a pleasant interlude on a drive in the area, or when visiting wineries along the wine trail.
